डोंगरगढ़ की पहाड़ी पर स्थित शक्तिरूपा मां बमलेश्वरी देवी का विख्यात मंदिर आस्था का केंद्र है|
बड़ी बम्लेश्वरी के समतल पर स्थित मंदिर छोटी बम्लेश्वरी के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है मां बमलेश्वरी के मंदिर में प्रति वर्ष नवरात्र के समय दो बार विराट मेले का आयोजन किया जाता है जिसमें लाखों की संख्या में दर्शनार्थी भाग लेते हैं |
चारो ओर हरे भरे वनो पहाड़ियों छोटे बड़े तालाबों एवं पश्चिम में पनियाजोब जलासय उत्तर में धारा जलस्य तथा दाक्षिर में मड़ियाँ जलासय से घिरा प्राकृतिक सुषमा से परिपूर्ण स्थान है–डोंगरगढ़
यहां पहाड़ी पर स्थित मंदिर पर जाने के लिए सीढ़ियों क॑ अलावा रोपवे की सुविधा भी है। यहां यात्रियों की सुविधा हेतु पहाड़ों के ऊपर पेयजल की व्यवस्था, विद्युत प्रकाश, विश्रामालयों के अलावा भोजनालय व धार्मिक सामग्री खरीदने की सुविधा है। डोंगरगढ़ रायपुर से 100 नागपुर से 190 कि.मी. की दूरी पर स्थित है तथा मुंबई-हावड़ा रेल मार्ग के अंतर्गत आता है।

वायु मार्ग: रायपुर (100 कि.मी.) निकटतम हवाई अड्डा है जो मुंबई, दिल्ली, नागपुर, हैदराबाद, बैगलूरू, विशाखापट्नम एवं चैन्नई से जुड़ा हुआ है |

रेल मार्ग: हावड़ा-मुंबई मुख्य रेल मार्ग पर डोंगरगढ़ रेलवे जंक्शन है।
Bamleshwari Temple, Chhattisgarh
Bamleshwari Mata Temple or Bambleshwari Mata is an important shrine of worship encompassing the Hindu philosophical beliefs. It is located in the newly formed state of Chhattisgarh that has been carved out of erstwhile Madhya Pradesh. Situated in Dongargarh in the Rajnandgaon district, it is well connected to communication and public transport from Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh as well as from other prominent places in the state such as iron and steel mammoth landmark towns of Bhillai and Durg. However, the Bamleshwari Temple has two shrines dedicated to the reigning goddess.

While the main shrine or the Badi Bamleshwari Temple, literally translating to the Big Bamleshwari Temple is constructed on a hilltop at an elevation of 1600 feet, on its foothills almost at a distance of 12 kilometres further lies another shrine dedicated to the same deity known as Choti Bamleshwari Temple or The Small Bamleshwari temple.

These temple shrines are equally popular among pilgrims and heretics as they are revered by thousands of devotees who flock to temple grounds and premises during the most auspicious Navratri festival in the Hindu pantheology. The temple on the hill top is accessible for tourists and visitors and devotees alike by rope way cable cars which are also a major draw as it is the only one of its kind in the state of Chhattisgarh. While devotees and pilgrims can also walk their way to the temple, the rope way cable car is an added attraction that brings in tourists and fun farers thronging to the temple site.
